Bamboo Murabba

Bans ka murabba is a traditional Indian sweet that many of us remember from our grandmother’s kitchen. Our Bamboo Murabba is made with small bamboo pieces cooked in sugar syrup and flavored with green elaichi. It is soft, mildly sweet and quite different from the usual murabba you find on the shelf.

We don’t use any artificial color or preservatives. What you taste is bamboo, sugar and elaichi, nothing else.

Have a piece or two after a meal, or with a hot paratha for a sweet and savory bite. You can also serve it with a cup of tea or add it to your festive thali. Made at Special Sarv, Hisar, Haryana.
